PACs are a forum within the school community to discuss matters affecting the school and the education of our children. Parents’ voices are a tremendous value to our school, as they offer a wealth of ideas and support. The Cornerstone PAC strives to represent the diversity within our school community and contribute to the benefit of all students by:
- providing opportunities to educate and inform parents about the school;
- involving parents in volunteer activities; and
- openly discussing parents’ concerns and aspirations for their schools.
At CCS, our greatest goal for the PAC is to support our principal, Cori Richard, and her dedicated teachers and staff.
Because of our differences from a typical public school PAC, we receive no money from the government. We have to privately fundraise in order to supply the school with resources for much needed projects and supplementary support. We also help with the staff Christmas dinner, concession, and other special events.
We are always looking for new members, so we welcome and encourage more parents to get involved!
